WMSI offers a wide variety of camp options for 3-6 graders! New this year, an extended camp day to better fit your family’s schedule.

April Break

  • Animation Studio Camp

    April 28th-30th • 9am - 4pm
    Price: $225

    About: Movement brings art alive in animation camp! Over the week, we’ll uncover what makes our favorite stories so captivating by exploring the principles of animation and storytelling techniques. Campers will experiment with stop motion, drawing, and storytelling tools to craft their own animated short films. From brainstorming ideas to building characters and scenes, each day will unlock new ways to explore movement and art together.

  • Minecraft Camp

    June 30th - July 3rd • 9am - 4pm

    About: Step beyond the screen and into the real world of Minecraft! This camp combines the creativity of Minecraft with hands-on projects that bring the game to life. Campers will craft real-world versions of in-game items, design their own armor, and build using recycled materials. Along the way, we’ll explore the programming and mechanics that make Minecraft work. It’s a week of imagination, problem-solving, and teamwork—where the Minecraft universe inspires real-world adventures!

    About: Robot Camp is an engaging exploration of robotics, where campers learn from real-life robots and step into the role of engineers! Through hands-on activities, they’ll discover how coding connects the real world to robotics, using these skills to solve practical challenges and create wacky, fun inventions. With a focus on creativity, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime, problem-solving, and STEAM learning, campers will unlock the incredible possibilities of robotics.

    About: There’s an engineer in every artist and an artist in every engineer. Have you met them yet? In this camp, you will! Explore the engineering and design process through a variety of fun tools. Dive into robotics, animation, programming, and campers will find a little bit of everything to enjoy. Whether you’re not sure if science is your forte or you’re ready to soar to new heights, you’re sure to find a spark at STEAM camp.

Note: Camper grade level is based on their grade in the 2024-25 school year. Campers in 6th Grade may enroll in either our Gr 3-6 or Gr 6-8 camps. We'd be happy to provide guidance on choosing the best option for your camper!
